Acceptance and eligibility

These Terms of Use govern your use of the 100 Dives mobile application provided by YVB Apps. By downloading or using 100 Dives, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. You must be legally able to accept these terms in your country; a parent or guardian must approve a minor’s use where required.

What 100 Dives provides

100 Dives provides an independently curated checklist of 100 diving destinations, progress states, an informational map, local trip planning, indicative flight estimates, and optional links to external travel providers. Destination selection and ranking are editorial features, not certifications or guarantees.

References to publishers, destinations, operators, platforms, and providers identify third-party material or services. 100 Dives and YVB Apps are not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by National Geographic or any featured destination, dive operator, tourism authority, Travelpayouts, Aviasales, or external booking provider unless expressly stated.

Diving and travel safety

Diving involves serious risks, including injury and death. Map positions, destination descriptions, seasons, conditions, depths, access details, travel times, and other content may be approximate, incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable for your certification, experience, health, equipment, or current conditions.

Before any trip or dive, independently verify official travel rules, entry requirements, weather, marine conditions, permits, insurance, operator credentials, emergency facilities, and site restrictions. Use appropriately qualified professionals, stay within your certification and personal limits, follow recognised training and buddy procedures, and obtain medical advice where appropriate. Never rely on the app for navigation, decompression, emergency response, or real-time safety decisions.

Travel estimates and affiliate links

Flight prices and other travel results are indicative estimates, not live availability or offers. Dates, routes, fares, currencies, baggage, taxes, restrictions, and availability can change. Verify all details directly with the provider before relying on or purchasing anything.

100 Dives does not provide in-app booking. When you choose an external provider, you leave 100 Dives and transact under that provider’s terms and privacy policy. YVB Apps may earn an affiliate commission at no extra cost to you. The external provider—not 100 Dives—handles booking, payment, fulfilment, support, changes, cancellations, and refunds.

Your use of the app

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter, protecting exported backups, keeping your device secure, and deciding whether a destination or provider is appropriate. Do not misuse the app, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, bypass security controls, or use it unlawfully.

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use 100 Dives for lawful personal purposes in accordance with these terms and the rules of the app store from which you obtained it.

Content and intellectual property

100 Dives, including its original design, software, branding, and editorial arrangement, belongs to YVB Apps or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party names, marks, map data, airport data, and provider content belong to their respective owners and may be subject to separate terms. These terms do not transfer ownership to you.

Availability and liability

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue features, destinations, data sources, providers, or the app. Internet features may be unavailable because of device, network, gateway, provider, or regional conditions.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, 100 Dives is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or freedom from defects. YVB Apps is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of or inability to use the app, a dive or trip, or an external service. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes, governing law, and contact

We may update these terms when the app, providers, or legal requirements change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms where permitted by law. The current version and effective date will remain available on this page.

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without limiting mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable law will resolve disputes.
