Acceptance and eligibility

These Terms of Use govern your use of the 56 Seas mobile application published under the YVB name. By downloading or using 56 Seas, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. You must be legally able to accept these terms in your country, and a parent or guardian must approve a minor's use where required.

What 56 Seas provides

56 Seas provides a curated checklist of 56 seas, progress tools, an exploratory map, local backups, and a local-first trip planner. You can save destinations, dates, traveler details, notes, and prices for your own reference without creating an account.

The app is provided free of charge. We may update, add, change, or remove features to improve safety, reliability, compatibility, or the product experience.

Travel estimates and provider searches

Cached flight prices and other amounts shown in 56 Seas are indicative estimates, not live offers or guarantees of availability. Prices, schedules, baggage, taxes, cancellation conditions, and inventory can change. Always check the current details on the provider's service before making a decision.

56 Seas does not provide in-app booking, sell travel, accept payment, issue tickets or vouchers, make reservations, or manage changes, cancellations, refunds, insurance, or customer service for a booking. Your contract for a travel product is with the external provider identified during checkout.

Affiliate links and third-party services

Optional provider buttons may use Travelpayouts affiliate links. YVB may earn commission when a qualifying booking follows a link, at no extra cost to you. This commercial relationship does not increase or guarantee availability, quality, or support.

External providers operate under their own terms, privacy policies, prices, eligibility rules, and refund policies. YVB is not responsible for an external service, listing, transaction, supplier, or provider statement. Contact the provider shown in your booking confirmation for booking or payment support.

Travel, diving, and map safety

You are responsible for checking passports, visas, health guidance, insurance, weather, transport, local laws, entry rules, and safety conditions. Diving, swimming, sailing, and other activities can involve serious risks. Use qualified operators, appropriate training and equipment, and independent professional advice.

The 56-sea collection is a travel-friendly product taxonomy, not an official scientific or legal classification. The map and coordinates are illustrative and must not be used for navigation, emergency decisions, maritime boundaries, weather, or hydrographic purposes.

Licence and acceptable use

YVB grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use 56 Seas for lawful personal purposes under these terms and the applicable app-store rules. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, scrape, attack, interfere with, reverse engineer, or bypass security or provider restrictions except where applicable law expressly permits it.

You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of information you enter, export, or send. Do not use the travel gateway to automate requests, probe providers, hide prohibited destinations, or create unlawful, misleading, or abusive traffic.

Availability and responsibility

56 Seas is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free data, compatibility with every device, preservation of local data, or availability of any provider or search result. Keep a backup when your saved plans are important to you.

To the extent permitted by law, YVB is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from the app or an external travel service. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be limited.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms when features, providers, or legal requirements change. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply, subject to any notice or consent required by law.
